These are the "Easiest" Directions-Not Necessarily fastest or shortest

• Interstate 79 North to Interstate 279 North
• 279 North through Fort Pitt Tunnel to Interstate 376 East
• I-376 East to Forest Hills Exit at U.S. 30
• U. S. 30 East about 5 miles (through Forest Hills, across the Westinghouse Bridge, and past Great Valley Shopping Center)
• Get in right lane just past Great Valley Shopping Center
• Turn right on PA 148/5th Avenue in East McKeesport
• Follow PA 148 approximately 2 miles
• At 3rd stop light turn left on Hartman Street
• Hartman turns into Eden Park Blvd
• Go straight through one traffic light
• McKeesport High School is on the right

There are other ways to get to McKeesport High School. Alternate routes through the South Hills are often chosen. The actual route taken by the bus will be chosen by the bus drivers.

Alternate Route Through Finleyville

• US 19 North to Waterdam Road (3.1 Miles from 519/19 Interchange)
• Turn Right on Waterdam Road
• Follow Waterdam Road 2.3 Miles to Thomas Road
• Bear Right on Thomas Road
• Follow Thomas Road 0.8 Miles to the intersection with Linden Road-Stay to left on Thomas Road
• Follow Thomas Road (which turns into a few other roads) about 5 miles into Finleyville
• There will be a Stop sign at PA 88-Continue Straight on PA 88 North
• Follow PA 88 North about 200 Yards, and go straight at the "PA 43" Sign on Washington Avenue 
  • PA 88 Makes a sharp left at this intersection-DO NOT FOLLOW 88 North-Stay Straight
• Follow Washington Avenue/Finley Alrema Road  to PA 43-Toll Road
• Take PA 43 North (bring coins for $1.00 toll here)
• Stay on PA 43 North 4.2 miles until it ends at exit number 54/PA 51
• Go 0.6 mile and turn Left on Jefferson Blvd (you have no choice here-it becomes Jefferson Blvd)
• Follow 0.2 mile to a Right on Payne Hill Road
• Go 1 mile on Payne Hill Rd. to a right on PA 885 South
• Take 885 0.1 mile to make a left on Miller Road
• Follow Miller Road 1 mile to a left on PA 837 North
• PA 837 North bears to the right immediately-stay right to PA 837 North
• Take PA 837 North 4.5 miles to the sign for PA 148/McKeesport
• Cross the River on the McKeesport Duquesne Bridge-Stay in the left lane on the bridge
• Follow the Yellow Belt/PA 148 NORTH/5th Avenue toward East Pittsburgh
• It is 0.7 mile to Hartman Street
• Turn Right on Hartman Street
• Go 0.8 mile on Hartman Street/Eden Park Blvd. to the High School on the Right
